What Happens to the Body With Daily Consumption of Bananas – The Doctor’s Answer

Experts call bananas “happy” foods. Nutritious, healthy, and tasty bananas are ranked third in the world ranking of the healthiest foods. They contain many components necessary for the body.

American physician Lucia Garcia listed the benefits of bananas when consumed daily. “Eating 2-3 bananas a day will not make you fat… 2-3 bananas can provide enough energy for 2 hours of vigorous exercise. It’s no wonder that many famous athletes prefer bananas,” the doctor says.

Bananas bring happiness. They contain tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin in the body. The latter increases feelings of happiness and well-being, thus contributing to light sleep. They also contain pantothenic acid, a hormone of happiness that relieves stress and eliminates problems.

Bananas accelerate intestinal motility. Thanks to the many dietary fibers, this fruit removes toxins from the body.

Bananas strengthen the immune system and slow down aging. The content of powerful antioxidants – flavonoids – regulates the immune system and preserves the body’s youthfulness. This is also facilitated by the presence of potassium and magnesium, which are essential for the body. On average, one banana contains 420 mg of potassium and 32 mg of magnesium.

In addition, according to the doctor, a medium-length banana contains 14 grams of sugar and 6 grams of starch, which, with its low glycemic index, does not increase blood sugar levels.
