Which meat is actually in the kebab differs depending on the restaurant. However, for something to be considered a “döner kebab”, it must meet certain requirements.
What meat is in the kebab
Fast food dish is popular with many people. The classic “Döner Kebab” usually contains meat.
- Doner kebab translates as “rotating roasted meat”. Thin beef or veal or mutton or lamb is used for a kebab rotisserie.
- Some kebab shops also offer alternatives. This includes, for example, a chicken rotisserie, a turkey rotisserie, or a minced meat rotisserie. If the meat is different from the typical veal or lamb, it must be identified.
