One of the most popular weight loss tips is to drink more water, says the nutritionist. It would seem that in the summer it shouldn’t be difficult, because in the heat you want to drink more, but in reality, it turns out that many people choose sweet soda or store-bought juice to quench their thirst.

How to drink more water

  • Every day, set a goal to drink the right amount of water, even if it is small at first. A formulated goal sets you up for success.
  • Keep water in front of you throughout the day, for example, on your desk or in your purse. This will help you not to forget about your goal.
  • If you are on your feet all day, set a water reminder on your phone
  • To make the drinking process unusual, you can drink water through a straw. This way, you can empty the glass unnoticed,” the expert recommended.

How to diversify water

If you don’t like the taste of plain water, turn it into a drink. Add mint leaves, ginger, berries, cinnamon, lemon, or cucumber. You can also change the flavors, add ice, or drink water from a cold glass – according to Elena Kalen, this also affects our sense of taste.
