Whole Grain Yogurt Bread with Sesame Seeds and Sunflower Seeds

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cube Yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 150 g Natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Sesame
  • 6 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 200 ml Lukewarm water

Instructions
 

  • Put the whole wheat flour in a bowl, make a well in the middle. Crumble the yeast in there, add 70 ml of the warm water and the teaspoon of sugar. Mix a little and cover and let rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes.
  • Then add the egg, yoghurt, oil, salt and 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds and 4 tablespoons of sunflower seeds as well as 130 ml of lukewarm water and knead everything into a smooth dough and cover again in a warm place for 45 minutes.
  • Then knead again well and shape into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Make three oblique cuts with a knife. Mix the remaining seeds together.
  • Brush the loaf of bread with a little water and sprinkle the stone mixture over it and cover again for 40 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Then bake the bread on the middle rack for 40 minutes and don't forget to put a bowl of boiling water in the oven.
