Ingredients

  • 500 ml Buttermilk
  • 450 g Rye flour
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 60 ml Maple syrup
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • 3 tbsp Oatmeal
  • 3 tbsp Linseed
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp Grain mix

Instructions

  • Mix the buttermilk with the maple syrup. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together well. Chop the walnuts and add them to the flour mixture with the remaining ingredients. Also add the buttermilk and mix everything with a mixer to form a dough.
  • Grease a loaf pan and line it with oat flakes (then the bread will come out of the pan better later). Pour in the dough and distribute it evenly. If you want, you can spread a few more grains on the bread (looks better optically, of course).
  • Bake the bread at 180 ° C (top and bottom heat) for about 1 hour and 30 minutes
