Why Eating Lard is Good for Your Health – Nutritionist’s Explanation

According to the nutritionist, you can give up lard only if your daily diet contains foods that are rich in healthy fats. Eating lard all the time is good for the body. This was stated by nutritionist Svetlana Fus on her Instagram page.

The expert emphasized that the body needs fats, and lard contains fats that are good for the body. The consumption rate is one gram per kilogram of body weight.

“If you eat 20-30 grams of lard every day, maximum, it will cover the need for fats of natural origin. But 30 grams of fat per day is very little. You can give up lard if your daily diet includes other foods that contain healthy fats,” Fuss said.

In addition, the nutritionist drew attention to the fact that lard, like other foods, should be consumed in normal quantities. In the case of a lack of nutrients, metabolism slows down extremely and, as a result, body weight increases.
