Nutritionist Artem Leonov also noted that nuts, according to the new data, are suitable for consumption if soaked in water for six to eight hours.

Walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and cashews are useful for replenishing energy and normalizing the cardiovascular system, but nuts will harm the body if consumed improperly.

“Despite the fact that nuts contain many useful macro and microelements, fiber, and protein, they contain substances that inhibit enzymes. And all the nutrients in nuts are in an inactive state, they are limited by natural preservatives and do not benefit the body. Water neutralizes natural preservatives, as nature intended. If you saturate a nut with water, all micro and macro elements become active and available to the body,” Leonov said.

The expert also noted that nuts will be suitable for consumption if soaked in water for six to eight hours.

“This is the only way to get all the power of nature inherent in nuts,” he concluded.
