Why Put Black Pepper in the Washing Machine: You’ll Be Amazed at the Results

We all have favorite things – everyday things that brighten up our gray everyday life with their coziness and comfort or parade weekends, in which we feel like queens. And every time we wash such things at home – it’s still a lottery.

The main danger is the loss of color. Colors of clothes lose their richness if you wash them in too warm water, if you don’t sort things properly, or if you use the wrong detergent or washing program.

A teaspoon of ground black pepper should be added to the washing drum after loading the items and just before starting the washing machine. By combining with the detergent, the pepper will collect the excess detergent from the washed clothes. And it is the excess detergent, deposited on the clothes, that is responsible for their fading.

After washing it is enough to shake off the remnants of pepper from the clothes (if any particles remain after rinsing).

And you don’t have to worry about the intense aroma of the spice – it will be completely masked by the rinse aid.

That’s the prevention of a problem – but what can you do about faded clothes if the trouble has already happened? Here can help restore the color of clothes with folk remedies. But be careful: before using these methods, it is worth testing them on an inconspicuous part of the dress. If the shades match – then feel free to go ahead!
