Filled Puff Pastry Pillows
Servings: 1 people
- 2 packet Puff pastry
- 250 g Camenbert
- 200 g Cranberries from the glass
- 1 Egg yolks for gluing
- 1 Egg yolks for brushing
Unpack the puff pastry and cut to size. Place a sheet of pastry on the mold and press down lightly. Finely dice the Camenbert and mix with the cranberries, then use a spoon to spread small portions over the hollows. Brush the 2nd sheet of pastry with egg yolk and place on top, gently pressing down with flat hands. Flour a pastry roller lightly and roll it vigorously over the dough sheets until the ridges push through the dough and the pieces separate from each other.
Turn the mold over and carefully press it out using the back of a spoon over a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the pieces with egg yolk and bake in the oven at 200 ° C / fan oven 180 ° C for about 15-20 minutes.
Preparation without the EASY SNACK XL
Spread out the dough sheets on the worktop. Spread small heaps on top with a spoon (leave enough space). Then brush the 2nd plate with egg yolk, place it on top of the other and press firmly around the filling. Now use a pastry cutter to cut out small squares, brush with egg yolk and bake as indicated above.
I processed the puff pastry sheet as a whole ... and that was not so ideal, the next time I will cut it to size beforehand
