The daisies that I picked in the garden are placed in a pot with their stem and flower. Filled with one (1) liter of water. Put the lid on it and let it stand for about 2 hours. Then the whole thing is briefly boiled and the pot is removed from the stove.
Let it cool down and let it steep all night. The next day, pour through a fine-mesh sieve and collect the brew. Put this brew in a saucepan. Add lemon juice and raw cane sugar. Bring to the boil again until raw cane sugar has dissolved.
Now the whole thing is transferred to a slow cooker. Close the lid, turn it on and set it to "High". Open it every now and then, stir. It takes many hours (10) to develop a thick consistency. When the time comes, pour into one or more glasses.
