Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 250 g Raw rice
  • 500 g Broccoli (fresh or frozen)
  • 200 g Cooked ham
  • 500 g Hollandaise sauce
  • 200 g Grated cheese

Instructions

  • Fat for the pan, salt, pepper to taste. If necessary, wash the broccoli / cauliflower if fresh produce is used, cut into florets and cook in salted water until al dente. This does not apply to TK goods! Cut the ham into cubes, cook the rice almost cooked. Grease the baking dish and pour the cooked rice into the dish. Spread the cubes of ham and then the cauliflower / broccoli florets all over. Now pour the sauce over it. Spread the grated cheese on top of the cauliflower. Optionally sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top. Bake the casserole dish in the oven runners and in the preheated oven at 170 ° C top / bottom heat (180 ° C convection) for about 30 - 40 minutes. Tip & Tricks Instead of broccoli, you can also take cauliflower or mix both. And if you are a sauce freak then take 750 ml Hollandaise sauce that should be in about 3 packs if you use them. This dish used to be very popular with us children too.
