Vegan Marble Cake

Ingredients

For the dark dough

  • 0,5 Baggage Baking powder (corresponds to approx. 8g)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 Knife point Ground vanilla
  • 3 tbsp Rum
  • 100 ml Flavorless oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
  • 230 ml Soy milk (unsweetened)
  • 60 g Cocoa powder
  • 70 ml Soy milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top / bottom heat (or 180 degrees convection).
  • Measure and mix the dry ingredients. Add the liquid ingredients and mix everything thoroughly to form a light dough.
  • Approx. Put 250g of the light dough in a loaf pan and stir the cocoa powder and the rest of the soy milk into the remaining dough.
  • Place the dark dough on top of the light dough in the mold and move a fork through the dough in a spiral.
  • Bake the cake for 40 minutes.
