Apple Quark Cake

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 25 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 50 g Butter
  • 100 ml Warm milk

For covering:

  • 4 Apples
  • 500 g Quark
  • 2 Eggs
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

For the dough:

  • Sift the flour into a bowl.
  • Add the dry yeast and mix.
  • Add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg, butter and milk and knead.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough in a springform pan.

For covering:

  • Peel and core the apples, cut into wedges and place on the dough.
  • Put the quark in a bowl.
  • Add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice and stir.
  • Put the quark mixture on the apples and smooth out.
  • Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 30 minutes.
