Carrot Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 Finely grated carrots
  • 250 g Spelt flour 630
  • 300 g Spelt flour 1050
  • 350 ml Water
  • 1,5 teaspoon Honey
  • 10 g Fresh yeast
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1,5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Dissolve the yeast in the water, then pour all the ingredients into the mixing bowl of the food processor and knead for 2-3 minutes. (Do not knead the spelled flour for too long as it gets sticky very quickly) The bread dough is a bit soft, so I take a loaf pan - greased - and put it in there. Cover and let rise - approx. 30 min.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and place the bread in it. Using a spray bottle, add 4-5 sprays of water and quickly close the door. Bake the bread for about 45- 50 minutes.
