Soak the peas in 2.5 liters of water overnight.
Boil the soaked peas in water with the vegetable stock for about 20 minutes until soft. (Soda works wonders. ;-))
Drain the peas, let them cool, remove 2 tablespoons of peas and set aside and then puree the rest.
Add the finely chopped onion, garlic powder, cream cheese, oil, lemon juice and spices to the pea puree and mix until the whole is a smooth and homogeneous mass.
Mix the two tablespoons of peas into the spread and let them taste good!
