Ingredients
180g1 package of premium herring fillets 180 g Nordic style with housewife sauce
75gHousewife sauce
50g1 Onion
450gTriplets / 12 pieces (small, waxy potatoes)
1tspSalt
1tspWhole caraway seeds
1tspGround turmeric
2Small cucumbers
2Small vine tomatoes
Instructions
Peel the onion, cut into slices and assemble in rings. Wash the potatoes (triplets) and cook them in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) with ground turmeric (1 teaspoon) and whole caraway seeds (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes, drain, allow to cool a little and peel off. Serve herring fillets (2 pieces each) with onion rings, housewife sauce and jacket potato triplets, each garnished with a tomato (2 halves) and a small cucumber.
