Pickled Red Onions

Servings: 4 people
- 5 Red onions
- 1 piece Ginger
- 200 ml White wine vinegar
- 200 ml Water
- 2 tsp Salt
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 Msp Peppercorns
Bring the water, vinegar, salt, sugar and peppercorns to the boil in a saucepan and simmer on medium heat until the sugar and salt have completely dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool down.
Peel the onions and cut into fine rings.
Finely dice ginger.
Mix both and pour into a glass.
Pour the vinegar over them, chill and enjoy after a few hours.
