Nut and Chocolate Cake

Servings: 4 people
For the dough:
- 200 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 Egg
- 100 g Butter
For covering:
- 250 g Apricot jam
- 150 g Butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp Water
- 200 g Ground hazelnuts
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 1 cups Chocolateglaze
For the dough:
Mix the flour and baking powder and place in a mixing bowl.
Add sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and butter and knead.
Roll out the dough in a springform pan and prick several times with a fork.
For covering:
Spread the apricot jam on the dough.
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add sugar, vanilla sugar and water and stir.
Add the hazelnuts and almonds, stir and bring to the boil.
Spread the nut mixture on the dough.
Bake at 175 degrees top and bottom heat for about 30 minutes.
Melt the chocolate icing and spread it on the cake.
