Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 banana(s), ripe, mashed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 125 ml milk
  • 250 g whole wheat flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • n. B. Chocolate coating, white
  • n. B. Cookie(s) (cinnamon stars)
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

for an 18 or 20 cm springform pan

Cream the butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, and mix thoroughly. Add the vanilla sugar and bananas and stir until smooth. Dissolve the baking soda in the milk and mix the flour and baking powder. Alternately fold both into the batter, then stir until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about one hour (use a pin to test for frosting). Cover the cooled cake with the chocolate coating. Press cinnamon stars into the still-moistened chocolate coating, if desired, and decorate the cake with cinnamon powder.
