Spicy marinated chicken wings with honey and chili

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Chop the chili pepper as finely as possible. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until an emulsion forms. Stir in the paprika powder until the sauce can be easily spread onto the chicken wings with a brush. Brush the chicken wings with the sauce and place them on metal skewers. Hang the skewers in a suitable dish so that the meat does not touch the bottom. Preheat a convection oven to 150°C and cook the chicken wings on the middle rack for 45 minutes. There should always be a few milliliters of water in the dish to prevent the meat from drying out. Brush the chicken wings with the sauce every 15 minutes.
