Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 150 g polenta semolina
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 5 eggs, separated
- 100 g sugar
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 bulbs (depending on the size, 3 bulbs can also be used)
- 1 large apple, sour
- some fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Polenta with a difference, but also very good
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). All ingredients should be at room temperature. Beat the egg yolks with sugar and butter until fluffy. Stir in the quark, salt, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and polenta semolina. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks and fold in. Peel and core the pears and apple, quarter them, and slice them thinly. Fold in the mixture and pour the mixture into the greased baking dish. Bake in the oven for approx. 35-45 minutes. The surface should turn slightly brown. You can use other fruits according to your imagination and taste. Enjoy!
