simple, colorful and delicious

Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then gradually add all the other ingredients and mix together. The butter should ideally not be warm so that the chocolate doesn’t melt. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a prepared loaf pan and the remaining 1/3 into another prepared loaf pan. Bake both cakes in a preheated oven at approx. 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 30 minutes, then remove the smaller cake from the oven and bake the other for another 15 minutes. The baking time can vary depending on the oven and how the batter is divided – it’s best to check from time to time (use a toothpick test) to see how far along the cake is. Let both cakes cool, then carefully remove them from the pan. Cut off the front third of the smaller cake and then stack both pieces on top of the larger cake to create a nice car shape (see picture). Melt the chocolate glaze according to the package instructions and spread it over the entire car. Attach the round cookies to the sides as hoops and decorate with chocolate chips and sprinkles as desired.
