Leek macaroni

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml chicken stock
  • 200 ml condensed milk, 4% fat
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Parmesan, freshly sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside to drain. Halve the leek lengthwise, slice, rinse thoroughly, and set aside to drain. Peel and finely chop the garlic, finely dice the cooked ham. Briefly sauté the leek strips and diced ham in hot oil. Add the chicken stock and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. Add the garlic, condensed milk, and crème fraîche, and season with salt and pepper. Add the drained macaroni to the sauce, stir, and serve in portions on plates, and sprinkle with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese.
