Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • n. B. carrot(s)
  • 2 spring onions
  • e.g. mushrooms
  • 250 g rice
  • salt water
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • e.g. peas
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • Oil (wok or sesame oil)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook the rice in salted water as usual and let it cool. Season the chicken breast fillet with salt, pepper, and curry powder and sear it in a pan. Then set it aside on a plate. Finely chop the onion, spring onion, carrots, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cut the chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces. Add a little wok or sesame oil to a wok and rub it in with a kitchen towel. Bring the wok to heat and then add the ingredients one by one. Start with the onion and garlic, then the mushrooms, carrots, and spring onions, peas, bell pepper, rice, and finally the meat. Then add the soy sauce, curry powder, ginger, turmeric, and sambal oelek.
