Savoy cabbage and minced meat stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 750 g savoy cabbage
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 750 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Dice the onions, finely chop the garlic, and sauté both in a large pot in clarified butter until translucent. Then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the savoy cabbage thoroughly and roughly chop it, add it to the minced meat, and sauté briefly. Peel and chop the potatoes, and add them to the pot. Stir once. Deglaze with the stock and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add the cream, stir again, sprinkle with the thyme, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
