Münsterland spinach and minced meat puff pastry cake

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 250 g fresh leaf spinach
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • sheep’s cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • 200 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Brown them with the minced meat in a pan. Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and paprika. Add the roughly chopped spinach leaves and a few cherry tomatoes, and season with nutmeg. When the spinach has completely broken down, add 200 ml of cream and let it simmer. Season to taste and pour onto the prepared puff pastry sheets. Finish with feta cheese and bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
