Vegetarian onion and semolina pan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 450 g onion(s)
  • 100 g durum wheat semolina
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • a few sprigs of dill
  • 1 cup of sour cream, approx. 200 g
  • Salt
  • 100 ml vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Dice the onions and add the semolina and eggs. Season with salt. Mix everything together, cover, and let rest for 15 minutes. Pour the vegetable oil into a pan and fry the semolina mixture. Then turn over and fry the other side. Pour the passata over the onion and cover the pan. Sauté everything for about 15 minutes at medium heat. Chop the dill and sprinkle it over the top. Serve with the sour cream.
