Swabian Maultaschen salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of Maultasche(s), 360 g each, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce or lettuce hearts
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 200 g crème fraîche with herbs
  • some vinegar
  • some mustard
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the Maultaschen (swabian pasta) and mushrooms into strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Roughly dice the bell pepper and onion. Wash, shred, and spin the lettuce. Then, make the salad dressing from crème fraîche, yogurt, and vinegar and season with mustard, chives, salt, and pepper. Then, fry the Maultaschen (swabian pasta), mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper one after the other in sunflower oil and add to a salad bowl. Briefly toss the halved cherry tomatoes. Finally, add the salad dressing and lettuce to the salad bowl and stir to combine. Serve with warm baguette.
