Strawberry cake with Yogurette

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g dark chocolate shavings
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 50 g chocolate, melted
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 250 ml cake glaze, red
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 bar of chocolate (Yogurette)
  • 400 ml cream
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some strawberries, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Whisk the egg yolks and 100g of sugar until frothy. Stir in the chocolate shavings, nuts, and melted chocolate. Fold in the egg whites. Bake at approximately 200°C (top and bottom heat) for 25 minutes (use your oven’s experience to determine the best setting). Place the strawberries on the cake and cover with glaze. Cut the Yogurette into small pieces. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff. Fold in the Yogurette (reserve some for decoration). Garnish with strawberries and Yogurette pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
