- 750 g dough (dumpling)
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 potatoes
- 100 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- e.g. bacon, diced
- n. B. Apple

Potato pancakes made from dumpling dough, savory or sweet
Finely chop the onion, grate the potatoes into a medium-sized cube, and mix with the dumpling dough to form a dough. If we’re making savory dumplings, I add a packet of diced bacon to the dough. If we’re making sweet dumplings, I grate one or two apples into the mixture. Heat the pan, add a splash of oil, and fry the dumplings until golden brown on both sides. Savory dumplings can be topped with tomatoes and cheese, for example. Sweet dumplings are served with applesauce.
