Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 apple
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
- 3 chocolate (light colored chocolate chips)
- 1 piece(s) of dark chocolate (1 piece from one bar)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Apple Easter Bunny
Wash and halve the apple. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler. Place one half of the apple on a plate; this will be the bunny’s face. From the other half, cut out about 1/4 of each apple for the ears. From the rest of the apple, cut 6 thin whiskers. Brush all of the apple pieces you’re using with lemon juice to avoid brown spots. Use the melted chocolate to glue 2 eyes and a nose onto the bunny’s face. (You may need to dab off some of the lemon juice to make sure the chocolate sticks.) Now use a toothpick to draw 2 pupils and a mouth from the chocolate. Use half a toothpick to attach the ears to the top of the head. Finally, attach the whiskers to the nose; they will stay in place on their own. If this doesn’t work, you can fix them in place with a little chocolate.
