Cutlet topped with goat cheese

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 pork chop(s) (stem chop)
  • 2 kg onion(s), red
  • 2 packs of cheese (goat cheese, roll)
  • 1 jar jam (blackcurrant jelly)
  • 2 bunches of thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Season the meat with salt and pepper. Brown the red onions in a pan, stir in the currant jelly and thyme. Cut the goat cheese into pieces. Preheat the oven to 250°C. Place the chops on a greased baking sheet and grill for 5 minutes on each side, then scatter the onions over the chops. Spread the goat cheese over the onions and grill for another 3-4 minutes.
