Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 150 g tomato paste, seasoned
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 200 g tomato ketchup
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • n. B. herbs, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly spice mix (minced meat spice)
  • possibly boiled potatoes, or
  • possibly sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion and garlic and fry in a little olive oil until translucent. Add to a large pot. Fry the minced meat until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Season with minced meat seasoning if desired. Then add to the pot. Mix in the tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, and ketchup. Top up with about 250 ml of water and mix everything well. Finely chop the herbs and add them. Bring to a boil and season to taste. Top up with more water if necessary to reduce the sauce’s strength or to add more seasoning. To thicken it, I add a grated, boiled cold potato. You can also use a dark sauce thickener.
