Goulash As We Like It
The perfect goulash as we like it recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Vegetable side dishes
- 2 size Onion
- 3 Gherkins
- 2 Carrots, fresh
- 1 handful Fresh celery leaves
- 2 tablespoon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Rose hot peppers
- 200 ml Red wine, dry
- Salt and pepper
- 2 Cans Mixed vegetables
- Nutmeg
- Pepper and salt
- 100 g Butter
- Parsley
- Wash the goulash and cut into small pieces, cut the onions into large pieces, cut the cucumbers into slices, cut the carrots into pieces, roughly cut the celery, mix everything well, then mix the paprika, salt and pepper, and add the mustard again, mix everything well. Now the whole thing is seared sharply and stir more often. Deglaze with the red wine and boil down and fry well again. (I always use a pressure cooker) then pour some water and close the pot and let everything boil for about 30-40 minutes Open the pot as instructed and season to taste. I still bind the sauce because it is otherwise too thin for us. Everyone can decide for themselves. Now the vegetables to go with it. I take two cans of mixed vegetables (you can of course also use something else, we had that with us today), warm them up with a little salt, then pour the whole thing off and mix in the butter, season with pepper and nutmeg, and then add the parsley Done, there were also potatoes.
