KitchenAid: How To Set the Food Processor Correctly

Instructions: Set the Kitchenaid correctly

First, it’s important to know that if you buy the Kitchenaid repackaged, you don’t have to adjust it. This is already present at the factory. However, it is different if you buy it used or want to change something afterward.

  • You notice that the setting no longer fits, for example, if the whisk scratches the flour while stirring. Then he presses too hard on the bowl. This is not only bad for the accessories, but also the bowl.
  • Place a 2-cent or 5-cent coin in the Kitchenaid bowl. Insert the flat beater into the holder at the front.
  • Fold the holder down so the beater is in the bowl and turn on the Kitchenaid machine. If the coin is only occasionally touched, the setting is perfect. It should be so.
  • If this operation differs, unfold the machine. You can see a slotted screw on the base. This must be adjusted.
  • To do this, take a screwdriver and very gently turn a little to the right if you want the stirring elements to go down and to the left if you want the stirring elements to go up.
  • You only have to make this setting once. This then works equally for all bowls and stirring elements.
  • Check again with the same coin to see if it’s just being moved now and then. If everything is perfect, you can use the machine again.
