Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g turkey meat
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 2 small chili peppers
- 1 pinch(s) of black pepper from the mill
- ⅛ liter white wine, dry (e.g. Lira)
- 1 dash of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 handful of thyme
- 1 handful of tomatoes, dried
- oregano
- 2 m.-sized onion(s), cut into pieces
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 5 hours 25 minutes
Basic recipe: can be prepared with all types of meat
Mix the marinade ingredients and marinate the meat, if possible 5-6 hours in advance. Brown the meat—in this case, turkey—roughly diced into large pieces and then place it in a pot. Reduce the remaining marinade and pour it over the meat in the pot. Bring to a boil (approx. 15 minutes). If it’s too thick, add more wine. Tip: Not least because of its name, Carne Fiesta is especially suitable for parties. Papas Arrugadas (Canarian shriveled potatoes) go particularly well with Carne Fiesta.
