Four-breaded gnocchi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg gnocchi, ready-made product or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 130 g Gorgonzola
  • 50 g cheese (Allgäu Emmental)
  • 50 g Parmesan or Pecorino
  • 50g mozzarella
  • 100 ml whipped cream or Cremefine
  • salt and pepper, pepper
  • n. B. herbs (parsley, chives, basil)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Potato dumplings with four-cheese sauce

Cook gnocchi according to the package instructions and drain. Keep homemade gnocchi warm. Finely dice the Gorgonzola, Emmental, and mozzarella, and coarsely grate the Parmesan. Gently heat the olive oil in a small pan, add the cheese to the pan over medium heat, and reduce the heat again. Melt the cheese for a few seconds, then immediately add the cream and simmer gently for about 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Once the cheese is completely melted, season with salt and pepper and toss with the gnocchi. Serve with a green salad and ciabatta bread. Sprinkle the prepared plates with chopped herbs, if desired.
