Gnocchi in Parmesan and sage sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
  • salt water
  • 60 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 30 g butter
  • 150 g cream or milk
  • cornstarch if needed
  • 30 sage leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the package instructions until tender, then drain. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, toss the sage leaves in it, and remove. Then add the Parmesan cheese to the butter and sauté gently. Deglaze with cream or milk and bring to a boil (thicken with cornstarch if necessary). Arrange the sage leaves on top of the cooked gnocchi and serve with the sauce.
