Spaghetti à la Puttanesca

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 800 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 1 can tuna in oil
  • 2 tbsp black olives
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Finely dice the onion and garlic clove. Sauté in a pan with the tuna oil. Add the capers and tuna and sauté briefly. Add the passata and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Add the olives and season with the spices to taste. I added a dash of cream. You can also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on the spaghetti just before serving.
