Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sweet cream butter
  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder, instant

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Add the sweetened cocoa powder to the softened butter and mix well. Let stand for 20 minutes (so the powder particles dissolve) and mix well again. Repeat this process if necessary until a smooth mixture forms. Then the chocolate butter is ready to serve as a breakfast spread. You can add a dash of rum to enhance the chocolate butter. Note: Chocolate butter is an old, classic, and popular spread in Ukraine. Ready-made chocolate butter is also available in Ukrainian supermarkets.
