as a spicy side dish or just like that

Coarsely grate the potatoes, mix with the egg, spices, and finely chopped wild garlic, and season to taste. Stir in a little flour, if desired. Scoop out small portions with a spoon, form small dumplings with floured hands, and flatten. Fry on both sides in a pan with oil. A spicy side dish for meat dishes, but also great enjoyed simply with a salad. Also great for using up leftover cooked potatoes. Can be modified with other fresh herbs.
