Minute steaks with spicy beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g steak(s), (minute steaks)
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cream, or Cremefine
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 800 g beans, green
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 tbsp thyme, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 75 g ham, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Briefly rinse the meat in cold water and pat dry. Mix together the curry, paprika, cayenne pepper, oil, cream, and ketchup. Cover the steaks with the marinade and let them marinate. Trim the beans, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and cook them in salted water until al dente, then drain. Finely chop the onion and heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the onion until translucent, then add the diced ham. Add the cooked beans and toss everything together. Season to taste with a little salt, the chili sauce, the chili flakes, and the thyme. Heat a nonstick pan and fry the marinated steaks on both sides without adding any more oil.
