Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 10 m.-sized mushrooms
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp milk
- salt and pepper
- e.g. breadcrumbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
or for fondue
Whisk the egg with flour, milk, and salt to form a thin batter. Clean the mushrooms with kitchen paper (no water!) and then coat them first in the batter and then in the breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Cook the breaded mushrooms in a deep fryer at approximately 150°C for about 3-4 minutes. Serve with tzatziki, baked potatoes, and a mixed salad. The mushrooms are also excellent for fondue.
