Cauliflower with cream cheese and minced meat sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 100 g minced beef
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 100 ml meat broth or water
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • Salt and pepper fresh from the mill
  • some parsley leaves for garnish

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Low carb – made quickly

Divide the cauliflower into florets, wash thoroughly, and cook in a pot with a steamer until al dente. This takes about 12-18 minutes. During this time, peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat a pan and brown the minced meat thoroughly. After about 5 minutes, add the diced onion and garlic and continue cooking, stirring occasionally. After about 8-10 minutes, deglaze with the stock and stir in the cream cheese. Let it simmer over low heat for about 3-5 minutes (I had minced meat with a little fat, so I didn’t use any additional fat for browning). Season generously with salt and pepper. Place the cauliflower florets on the plates and pour the sauce over them. Serve garnished with a few parsley leaves.
