Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g potatoes, finely chopped
  • 60 g carrot(s), finely chopped
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
  • 260 ml water
  • 60 g cashew nuts
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 70 g margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the chopped potatoes, carrots, and onion in 260 ml of water until soft. Then, add everything, including the water, to a blender (or an immersion blender). Add the remaining ingredients and blend on high until creamy. This sauce is perfect for mac ‘n cheese pasta or topping pizzas and casseroles.
