Baked Hokkaido pumpkin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pumpkin(s) (Hokkaido)
  • Butter or oil
  • pepper
  • herbal salt
  • e.g. parsley, fresh, chopped
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the pumpkin, halve it, and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the unpeeled pumpkin halves into approximately 1 cm thick wedges and brush with oil or butter. Season with herb salt and pepper. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 15 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley to serve. Serve as a side dish with meat or vegetarian with mashed potatoes. Tip: The wedges also taste great cold.
