Microwave pumpkin with minced meat filling

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pumpkin(s) (microwave pumpkin)
  • 130 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • ½ tsp mixed herbs (8-herb blend, frozen)
  • n. B. Spice(s) of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 16 minutes

Wash the pumpkin and cut off the top. Deseed the pumpkin and remove any stringy parts with a spoon. Microwave the bottom half on high for 5 minutes. In the meantime, brown the ground beef, remove from the heat, and stir in the crème fraîche. Season to taste. I used an African spice blend that worked really well. Empty the filling into the pumpkin, put the lid on, and microwave again on high for about 1 minute. Serve as a starter, side dish, or with baguette and/or salad, it makes a complete meal. Use one pumpkin per person. It can also be prepared in the oven at 220°C (more practical if you want to cook several pumpkins at once); this takes about 20 minutes.
