Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 egg(s)
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • some paprika
  • Fat (coconut oil or margarine) for frying
  • 100 ml meat broth
  • ½ tbsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Finely chop the onions, tomatoes, and garlic. Mix the minced meat, half of the onions, garlic, and eggs. Add enough breadcrumbs to form a formable meat dough. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, form a roast, and brown in fat in a pot. Add the remaining onions, tomatoes, and mustard and brown. Then deglaze with the stock. Cover and simmer for about 25-30 minutes, adding more water if necessary. Serve with potatoes and vegetables.
