Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g cherries
- 150 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 6 tbsp milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (heaped)
- 4 tbsp almonds, ground (heaped)
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tbsp rum
- 1 bar of semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cherry cake with chocolate
Wash the cherries, remove the stems, and stones. Mix all ingredients except the chocolate into a stiff, stiff batter. Finally, mix the finely crumbled chocolate into the batter. Pour two-thirds of the batter into a deep springform pan (24-26 cm in diameter). Arrange half of the cherries on top. Cover with the remaining batter and smooth it down. Arrange the remaining cherries on top of the batter. Bake at 200°C for about 60 minutes. Once cooled slightly, remove from the pan or turn out. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
