Baked fish in paprika cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g leaf spinach
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth, instant
  • 200 g cream
  • 800 g redfish fillet(s)
  • 75 g cheese (butter cheese)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 45 minutes

Clean and wash the spinach. Peel and finely dice the onions. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté half of the onions until translucent, then add the spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Clean, wash, and finely chop the bell pepper. Melt the butter in a pan. Sauté the bell peppers and remaining onions. Add the stock, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the cream. Season with salt and pepper, and puree. Cut the fish fillet into 8 pieces, season with salt and pepper. Pour the paprika sauce into a large or 2 small baking dishes and place the fish in it. Spread the spinach on top. Grate the cheese and sprinkle over it. Cook at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
